Chase......

I agree.  It's great to see some of the top 8th grade teams playing in the Fall League.  And we were lucky enough to get to play 4 of the top 5.

Seattle Elite (previously FOH) was a top team last year winning their share of tournaments and also doing very well when traveling out of state to big tournaments!

ECBA 2015  They are 7-0 for a reason.  They're a combo team with KEY Players from the ECBA 2014 A Team.  Having played vs 4 of the top 5 teams in the Fall Standings (Boys II Men, Seattle Elite, FOH, & ECBA and losing to all 4 teams) ECBA is easily the team to beat.  We competed well vs the other 3 teams.

Boys II Men (previously Wa Warriors & Seattle Speed) They have been a top team for the past few years.  Winning their share of leagues and tournaments.

N.W. Panthers Last year they went to Nationals and played well.  They beat many of the top teams and always compete.  They got better as the year went on.  Ending their year winning the Battle in Seattle over Rotary & Boy II Men.

Stanwood  A great team and great program.  They have been together and been a top team for the last few years.  Well coached and very disciplined.

The only teams missing from the top 8th grade teams is Rotary & RSB.  It should make for an exciting Fall League and its great to see these teams playing so early in the AAU basketball year for a change.

Good Luck to all of the teams in every grade level!

Any scores from this past weekend of the fall league?

Fall is usually the toughest time to judge because players are out for soccer/football and some teams haven't finalized their rosters yet.

Chase how do we report our scores? ECBA South won our game on Sunday, don't know how to report. Thank you for any information on reporting scores, I'm assuming there is a number or email address.

zagguy....Shorecrest 6th.... and 206forlife....

Seattle Elite didn't beat Boys II Men...They beat our 7th grade Seattle Speed Elite team playing up.  The score was 55 to 43 or 45...it was a 10 or 12 point win.  The game was close for the first 3/4 of the game.  Many lead changes and always within a couple points.  Seattle Elite pulled away within the last 10 minutes of the game.

Seattle Speed Elite played 2 back to back games prior...We beat 7th grade Stanwood and we beat 8th grade PCS Timberwolves by 18.

JCSeattleSpeedEilite- Sorry for that error on the team name. I stand corrected. That SSE 7th grade team is a fine looking team. Talk about some serious 3 point range - wow! Best of luck in this season and beyond.

206forLife- I believe Seattle Elite beat FOH by 3 points.

I am surpirsed to see that no one mentioned ECBA Force. They have held their own quite nicely and are 8-1.

Anybody have any results from the 8th grade playoffs this weekend. I saw that Emerald City 2015 and Seattle Elite made it, but any close games? surprises?

Thanks to anyone that can provide scores and summaries.

In the 8th grade division it was good game.  We played solid D in the first half and were able to get out and run and go inside.  In the 2nd SE came out and went on a nice run to get the score almost tied.  We picked up the pace again in the 4th quarter and took care of the ball.  Great poise by the 7th graders Ty, Zach, Sam, Eric, and Will against a very aggressive SE trapping defense in the 2nd half.  The 8th graders Jason, Dan, Josh, Cory, and Sam played solid as well.  In the Var division we beat FOH.  All of the players from both teams have been playing against each other or with each other in WYS and PNAAU events since 5th grade.  All grown up now battling it out.  Fun stuff to witness as a coach.  Props to all the teams!  Good luck in HS this year and looking forward to the Winter AAU circuit.  5th, 7th, and 8th EC Pioneers will be in AAU Veterans Day tournament this weekend.  Shorecrest6th, watch out for Jr and Trevor to do work for Shorecrest this year!

Thanks for the update Chase. Yeah, I saw Trevor and Junior last weekend. Junior is going to be a beast this year. He is already getting some looks from D-1 schools, but it is obviously early.

Which of your 8th grade teams are you entering into this weekend's tournament? My team (8th grade) and our 5th graders are playing in the tournament.
